Welcome CommentLuv Premium!

After a lot of thought and research, I decided to go forward with buying my very own version of CommentLuv Premium!  I know, I know, you’re asking “Felicia, what does this have to do with us?”  Well, you know what?  I’m glad you asked!  Let me tell you what this means for you because you’re going to love it—especially if you’re blog owner or even a forum/website owner.

Now, I know you’ve read my original post when I switched from Disqus to CommentLuv, so you have an idea of what CommentLuv is all about.  Wait…what do you mean you didn’t read it?  Well, hmm…I’ll give you a minute to go back and read all about it!  Did you do it?  No?  Well, I guess I can give you a brief explanation of what CommentLuv is then just so we’re all on the same page.  Let me first start off by saying that CommentLuv benefits those who comment on Familial Ramblings.  With this system, you are able to choose from some of your most recent blog posts for one to be displayed below your comment giving your blog more exposure, which is always a good thing.

CommentLuv Premium gives me the ability to reward those who have made comments on my posts and have shared my posts on social networks more easily.  For example, I have it set up so that if you’ve made ten comments on Familial Ramblings, you will be able to pick from your ten latest blog posts to be displayed and the link you choose will be a “dofollow” link.  Good stuff, right?  But way, there’s more!

This premium package didn’t just come with an upgraded system of CommentLuv; it also came with some other nifty little features.  You will see that now when you comment you can also leave your Twitter link, which will appear below your name (or somewhere else if I decide I don’t like the way it looks under the names).  What’s that mean for you?  MORE EXPOSURE!  Was that enough for you?  No?  Well…good because I’ve got one more thing!

Along with being able to choose from more posts, having them as dofollow links and adding your Twitter link, you can also now add keywords to your name if you have more than three comments.  So when you make a comment, if you add an @ symbol after your name and the name of your blog or forum, it’ll appear as, “Felicia from Familial Ramblings” for example.  That enough new stuff for you yet?  NO?!  Okay, okay, I have ONE final new addition and that’s it, so I hope this will put a smile on your face.

If you take a look at the sidebar for a moment, you’ll notice that the “Recent Comments” widget is no longer there and instead there is a “Top CommentLuvvers” widget instead.   This is a list of the top five commenters here on Familial Ramblings from the past 30 days along with their recent post.  If you make this list, you will be rewarded with having even more exposure to your blog by having not only a recent link to you a recent post, but also your name will link to your forum as a dofollow link and to top it all off, this widget appears on every page of Familial Ramblings.  I’m still playing around with this feature a little bit, so the list may change within the next couple of days depending on which settings I end up going with.

Welp, that’s all I have for you.  What are your thoughts on this new and nifty stuff?  If you have any questions about CommentLuv, feel free to ask here in a comment or send me an email via my Contact Form.  Also, if you’re interested in purchasing your own copy of CommentLuv Premium, make sure to click the lovely link below to check out the options!

The CommentLuv Plugin

I will receive commission if you purchase CommentLuv Premium, however, I would not be promoting this product if I did not believe that it had something to offer my readers, which is what is most important to me.

    • So far I’m really loving this plugin. I got the one for a single site which was $67, but there are others as well that you can get a few more goodies with like ebooks on different topics and the ability to install it on multiple sites. They run discounts every now and then as well, but you get a lot of bang for your buck in my opinion.

    • Thank you so much for stopping by, Iileane! I have to say that I absolutely love CommentLuv Premium so far. Your blog is one that I actually stopped by when I was doing research and you provided a lot of great information. :)

        • I’m really loving CommentLuv and I think my readers are too! :) Thanks for sharing your experiences with it because it really is awesome.

        • I’d agree, its a superb commenting system, it doth come in handy or its really practical or useful. Although I haven’t switched to it yet on my blog… Maybe or mayhap i’d be better off using this one for my site too? Or as well? What do you guys think?

        • It looks like you’re on WordPress.COM which doesn’t allow you to add plugins (to my knowledge), so you wouldn’t be able to add it unless you moved to self-hosting. Also, this would a question for your blog readers; though, I would highly recommend adding it as it’s a great tool.

  1. Wow, I think its amazin or awesome of you to reward your regulars so! So to this, I say thank you! Thanks to you, nao we get more limelight or spotlight for our site! I’ll be sure to comment more oft on Familial Ramblings!

  2. So happy you finally decided to get it! :) You enjoy doing your blog much more than any forum I’ve ever seen you working at or trying to get going. I think this will bring you more excitement to your blog and hopefully for the readers, too. I almost always read your posts, but not always do I comment. Happy for you! :)

    • Thanks for the compliments! I hope that these new features will help not only myself, but most importantly my readers and commenters. I see that you’re already using the Twitter feature! :)
