The Family that Slays Together

The game Lollipop Chainsaw came out a couple of weeks ago and for some reason it spoke to me.  I’m not much of a gamer, but every once in a blue moon a video game creeps up that catches my attention.  I’ve never completed a game as fast as I finished that one because it instantly hooked me.  It’s certainly not a game for those who get queasy looking at blood and guts considering the game centers primarily on fighting zombies with—that’s right, you guessed it—a chainsaw.  But the game is more than that just, this game surprised me when I found out that it doesn’t just focus on the main character, Juliet and her boyfriend Nick, but also on her family of zombie hunters.
